Bells, 1930s

The bells are sewn onto an elastic loop so they can be worn around the knee for dancing.

The Kirtlington colours are pink and blue. These are said to have been the racing colours of the Dashwood family, prominent Kirtlington landowners of the nineteenth century.

A certificate awarded to Kirtlington Morris at a Witney dance contest. The certificate is signed by Maud Karpeles (1885-1976), a well-known researcher of folk songs and dances.
