Abingdon in the 1910s
Abingdon lies across the Thames from Oxford and until 1974 was the county town of Berkshire. Abingdon’s two morris sides – Mr. Hemmings’ Abingdon Traditional Morris and Abingdon Traditional Morris – both dance a distinctively Cotswold style, like all older Oxfordshire sides.
